DHS Vanity Plates

Thank you for your interest in Dover High School’s license plate!  The Dover High School license plate is an organizational plate specific to Dover High.  To be a recognized member of the organization, one of the following must apply:

  • Dover High School graduate
  • Current DHS Senior (with the intent to graduate from DHS within the academic school year)
  • Tenured staff/coach of DHS or Retired staff/coach of DHS
  • District Office Administrator
  • Board of Education Member who served a full term (minimum of 5 years)

Plate numbers 2-10 and 625 (the first official numerical address of DHS at 1 Pat Lynn Drive) will be available through public auction at identified events hosted by Capital School district and/or Dover High School.  Plate numbers 11-999 can be requested. If the number is available, and you are an approved member of the organization, the number requested will be granted.  If the number is unavailable, the applicant will be able to choose a second preference or will be randomly assigned a number.  Per the Capital School District Board of Education, plate #1 will be displayed by the current Dover High School principal.

To apply for a Dover High School license plate, you must:

  1. Complete DHS Information Sheet
  2. Complete required DMV application
  3. Submit $35 with application
  4. Provide a copy of your current vehicle registration

Once all documentation is received, Dover High School will submit your application on your behalf to the DMV.  License plates will be mailed to the address on the registration card.
