The Arts Academy Music pathway is a way to prepare students for being a music major in a college setting. Pathway coursework provides students opportunities to engage with music beyond traditional school ensembles through theory, ear training, and composition.
Academy Requirements: Participation in a minimum of six ensemble credits, participation in VPAG for two years, and completion of the academic Music Pathway (Music Theory, Ear Training, and AP Music Theory). Please see the course descriptions HERE.

Notes: While the music pathway is not exclusive to students who have previous music experience, we strongly encourage students who take the academic courses (ex. Music Theory, etc) to be enrolled in an ensemble such as Band, Chorus, or Orchestra. Please see the course descriptions HERE
