Capital School District is putting on a spunky, fun, and vibrant musical called Bring it On.

Both members from Dover High and Central Middle School will be performing in Dover’s auditorium on March 15th and 16th at 7pm. The partnership is one of the first to have so many cast members from the two schools. “We have paved a pathway for the gifted middle schoolers to find their place at Dover High School, which not only promotes a smooth transition for them but also creates natural mentorship opportunities for the high school Academy of the Arts students,” Director Audrey Greene shared. This musical is one of Dover High’s biggest productions with one of the largest casts in recent history.

The day of the premiere the cast will show the first scene of the motion picture inspired musical during 2A. The only way to attend the performance is with a ticket provided by the 2A teachers who signed up their classes to attend.

There will be lots of music done by a professional band and students in the Dover High Pit Band, directed by Mr. Ayer, plus some favorite veteran performers. The music should entertain for the fans of Lin Manuel-Miranda, who is known for his lyrics and compositions for the musicals In the Heights and Hamilton and in the films Moana and Mary Poppins Returns.
